Execellent Quality

The fit and finish of this axe is second to none. Hair shaving sharp out of the box and it keep the edge even after chopping all day. Even thou the profile is for limbing I was able to fell small tree and spilt small logs too.

Excellent!!!

I have the Small Forest Axe which is also excellent but for the bigger jobs the Scandi Forest Axe is the way to go. It is not all that much larger but it sure does the job with ease. It still fits in my pack with no problem. As in the Small Forest Axe, the quality and craftsmanship is second to none. This axe and the Small Forest Axe make the perfect pair. Highly recommended. You will love it.

All I can say is Wow!!!

I took the plunge and order this axe. After 20 years of crappy mass produced axes I figured it was time to treat myself to a product I can use for the rest of my life. I had high hopes and boy does this axe not disappoint. Not to come off as a GB groupie, but holy crap this thing is sweet. I unboxed and the first thing I did was shave a three inch strip of hair off my arm with one pass. That balance is great. It feels good in the hand. Swings great. And is just a well made unit. The grain on the handle is perfect and you can feel the attention to detail as well as see it. Glad I got the longer handled axe as this extra length and slightly heavier head gives this axe good power for its size. Overal I love this axe. And I'm afraid this won't be my last. Defiantly need to get it friends. You won't be disappointed.
