Council Tool axes do not come with a very good edge on them. ADD this item if you would like your Council Tool axe sharpened for FREE before we ship.

To receive the free sharpening your axe needs to already come with a protective sheath OR you must purchase an optional sheath. The edge we put on an axe will easily cause injury or damage if the edge is not protected when not in use. (If you wish to make your own, please add that note to your purchase and we will sharpen and protect the edge with tape for shipping)

This free sharpening is 95% of what we do on a paid sharpen job. The last 5% is more time consuming so this a good balance of quality vs. time for us.
